We’re Now In Redwood City

By Cathy Moran

Moran Law GroupMoran Law Group has packed up and moved to Redwood City!

Effective October 1, 2018, Cathy and Renee are holding forth at 643 Bair Island Road, Suite 403, Redwood City.  Our phone number and email addresses are the same.

We’re sharing our San Mateo county office with two good friends and marvelous bankruptcy lawyers, Jeff Curl and Wayne Silver.  Rubbing shoulders with these guys sharpens our legal thinking and just generally enlivens our days.

We will continue to counsel consumers and small businesses about their financial challenges and provide candid advice on whether bankruptcy is appropriate.

We are focused on insisting that creditors honor the fresh start that a bankruptcy discharge should bring with it.  That means we are ready to go to court if necessary to make creditors obey the law and make you whole for the cost of the exercise.  We can help you enforce your rights even if we didn’t represent you in your bankruptcy case.

We also tackle mortgage servicing issues that arise after a Chapter 13.  All too often, it seems that lenders can’t keep track of the money they’ve collected, nor can they follow the law on being transparent about what they do.

More about us and about bankruptcy law can be found here at BankruptcySoapbox.com and our companion site Bankruptcy In Brief.com

How Bankruptcy Works

How To Pay For Bankruptcy When You’re Flat Broke

One of the cosmic ironies of our legal system is that it costs money to file bankruptcy. Bankruptcy gets you out of debt only if you have the money to file. The costs of bankruptcy include the filing fee collected by the court; the required credit counseling; and, if you're smart, an experienced lawyer to make sure … Read more
